Media That Matters

We are proud to announce that INFORM has been selected as one of this year’s Media That Matters Film Festival TAKE ACTION LINKs. Each year, the Media That Matters Film Festival features a new collection of socially conscious short films created by independent and youth filmmakers from across the globe. The films are used worldwide via the internet, DVD, broadcast and as part of one of our hundreds of screenings. This year's twelve, jury selected films premiered in NYC on May 28th at the IFC Center, with a second screening on May 30th at Tribeca Cinemas. All the films can be seen online at www.mediathatmattersfest.org.

The Take Action Links play an integral part of the Media That Matters Film Festival. Every year, twelve selected films are paired up with three or four organizations that provide supplementary information, historical context or ways in which a person can become more involved in the issue covered in the film.

The links are a great addition to the films and Discussion Guide that is produced to accompany each annual collection. These materials are used internationally by educators, activists and filmmakers.
