Recycling your cell phone is as easy as 123.
Recycling conserves natural resources and reduces the huge environmental impacts from resources extraction. Recycling cell phones prevents toxic substances from being released into the soil, water and air when cell phones end up in landfills or incinerators. Recycling also reduces the amount of waste that towns and cities have to handle. All of these things help people and the environment.
Follow these simple steps to recycle your cell phone:
1. Print out the pre-paid mailing label and cut it out along the dotted line.
2. Place your cell phone, charger and accessories in the envelop and affix the label on the envelop. You can also include pagers and PDAs.
